These were NOT repeat performances but the best of the worst and the best of the best.

Idol Update!

Wednesday night was a special Idol showing the favorites of the whole audition tour. These were unseen performances, that they haven’t shown us yet this season. It seems like they could do all the auditions like this in two shows.

Amanda Schetman was an interesting girl who can do a killer Britney Spears impression and can talk with her mouth closed. She had a beautiful voice and after much teasing from Simon she got a golden ticket.

Lacey Brown was in the top 50 last year but came back this year to see if she could make it further. She was verrrry typical in singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” but she has a good voice and will be getting another chance.

Adrian Chandtchi looked like Andre the Giant and had a high voice for such a large guy. Not surprisingly, he had a soprano style voice and it was super awkward.

Didi Benami sang in memory of her deceased best friend and it seemed really genuine, not like some cheesy gimmick. She cried after her audition and it actually made me tear up a little. I’m happy she will be going to Hollywood.

One of my favorites of the night was Shaddaii Harris, she was so adorable but a terrible singer! I wanted her to be good but she was definitely not; totally tone deaf.

Hope Hohnson was a total doll too, but she could actually sing! She seems like such a sweetheart and deserves this kind of chance. We will be seeing more of Hope very soon.

Next week is Hollywood week and I’m so excited!
